Product Overview

This is a neural cell specific Basic NucleofectorTM Kit which allows to determine the optimal transfection conditions for any mammalian neuron type. In contrast to our standard Basic Kit (VPI-1003) this kit is suited for transfection of small cell numbers.

IMPORTANT NOTE: It only works in combination with an older NucleofectorTM Device model, the NucleofectorTM IIS Device

We offer an optimization protocol as well as specific pre-optimized protocols for

  • Mouse DRGs
  • Rat neurons
  • Mouse neurons

The respective cell type-specific Optimized Protocols or recommendations are available under "Instructions" or in our knowledge database. In these Optimized Protocols the best Nucleofection conditions are indicated. In addition, we share our experience and knowledge for treatment of individual cell types.
