Product Overview
The hypothalamus is responsible for many metabolic processes and other activities of the autonomic nervous system. It synthesizes and secretes neurohormones, that stimulate or inhibit the secretion of pituitary hormones. The hypothalamus controls body temperature, hunger, thirst, fatigue, and circadian cycles. Rat hypothalamus neurons are a useful tool in the study of neuroendocrine-related diseases and disorders.
CloneticsTM Rat Hypothalamus Neurons are cryopreserved at primary passage from E18-19, Sprague-Dawley Rats. They stain positive for PGP and Tuj-1, and negative for sterility and mycoplasma. Each vial contain ≥ 2 million cells.
