Product Overview
P3 Primary Cell Nucleofector® Solution LV Set
Nucleofector® Solutions are proprietary electroporation buffers developed specifically for Nucleofector® Technology. They provide a protective cellular environment that enables high transfection efficiency and cell viability while helping to preserve physiologically relevant cell functions.
Typically, Nucleofector® Solutions are supplied together with the corresponding Nucleofector® Vessel as a Nucleofector® Kit. To support flexible sample volumes in large-scale Nucleofection® Workflows, the P3 Primary Cell Nucleofector® Solution is also available as a standalone product for use with the first-generation 4D-Nucleofector® LV Unit and the 4D-Nucleofector® LV Unit PRO.
The P3 Primary Cell Nucleofector® Solution LV Set is designed for cell and gene therapy (CGT) research applications and cell-based assays using flow-through cartridge formats.
Optimal for primary immune and stem cells
P3 Solution has been identified as the optimal Nucleofector® Solution for a broad range of primary blood and immune cells, including:
- T cells
- NK cells
- B cells
- Monocytes
- Macrophages
- Dendritic cells
It is also well suited for stem cell applications, including:
- CD34+ hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells (HSPCs)
- Embryonic stem cells
Product composition
P3 Nucleofector® Solution LV Sets consist of two components that are mixed immediately before use:
- Small Volume Set: 2.25 mL P3 Solution and 0.5 mL Supplement 1
- Large Volume Set: 22.5 mL P3 Solution and 5 mL Supplement 1
Compatible products
The large-volume LV Set (22.5 mL + 5 mL) is compatible with:
- LV Nucleocuvette® Cartridges (link can only be established once page is generated, pending)
- LV Nucleocuvette® Cartridges PRO
Comparable to GMP-Grade TheraPEAK® Solutions
The composition of P3 Solution and Supplement 1 is identical to the corresponding GMP-grade TheraPEAK® products. Biological performance testing has demonstrated equivalent performance profiles across both product grades.
Note: Of the five primary cell solutions available for the 4D-Nucleofector® System (P1-P5), only P3 Solution is currently offered for large-scale LV formats. P3 Solution supports a wide range of immune and stem cell applications. If your application requires a different solution, please contact our Scientific Support team.
