Diseased human pulmonary artery endothelial cells are isolated from human donors that have been diagnosed with diabetes type I or type II disease. Diseased cells are grown in the same optimized media system as normal human pulmonary aretery endothelial cells. Diabetic cultures can be used for experimental applications in diabetic-related cardiovascular pharmaceutical development, vascular pathology, including atherosclerosis.
Cryopreserved CloneticsTM Diabetic Human Pulmonary Artery Endothelial Cells are shipped in third passage. Proliferating CloneticsTM cells are shipped in fourth passage. All cells test negative for mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast, and fungi. HIV-1, hepatitis B and hepatitis C are not detected for all donors and/or cell lots. A Certificate of Analysis is provided for each cell lot purchased.
