Product Overview

PowerCHOTM-GS is a chemically defined, non-animal origin, protein-free CHO medium that contains HEPES and PluronicTM F-68, but no insulin, phenol red, or L-glutamine.

Designed for use in Lonza's proprietary GS Gene Expression SystemTM, PowerCHOTM-GS delivers high levels of cell proliferation, protein production, and cell viability. Characterized by its higher yielding cell lines, speed, predictable scale-up, regulatory acceptance and ease of use, the GS SystemTM leads to a more cost-efficient production of therapeutic proteins.

The GS SystemTM is the industry standard for the production of therapeutic recombinant proteins and monoclonal antibodies.

All BioWhittakerTM Cell Culture Media products are for Research Use Only (RUO) and are not approved for human or veterinary use or for use in clinical or in vitro diagnostic procedures. If you require GMP grade media, contact Lonza for more details.
