Product Overview

A consistent and robust source of pooled donor human hepatocytes is important for DMPK studies. With our new proprietary algorithm, we are able to predict yield, viability, and functional phenotype representing the average human populations.  The DonorPlexTM Pooled Donor Human Hepatocytes, 50 Donor, mixed-gender, is a roughly 50:50 (max 70:30) mixed gender, 50 donor pool designed to function like the average human liver.  Each batch is characterized for viable yield, and CYP1A2, CYP2A6, CYP2B6, CYP2C9, CYP2C19, CYP2E1, CYP3A4, UGT, SULT, OAT1B1/3, OCT, and NTCP activities.

With our large inventory of single donor human hepatocyte lots, and using our proprietary algorithm to predict phenotype, we can also custom produce a pooled donor hepatocyte batch with the phenotype to fit your needs. 

DonorPlexTM Pooled Donor Human Hepatocytes, 50 Donor, mixed-gender hepatocytes are ideally suited for short-term (<4hrs) in vitro drug clearance assays in a mixed gender pool.  These suspension qualified hepatocytes are not suitable for applications that require hepatocytes cultured in adhered monolayer.
