HEPES Buffered Saline Solution (BSS), is used to neutralize the complex proteins in growth medium that may inactivate trypsin during trypsinization.

HEPES BSS at a fill volume of 100 mL is a component of the ReagentPackTM Subculture kit (catalog number CC-5024). The 100 mL size is also sold separately (catalog number CC-5022).
