As cell therapy organizations move to industrialize their manufacturing operations and scale up their capacity, digitalizing their process becomes a key strategic vision. At Lonza, this ambition has led to the development of our proprietary MODA-ES® Software for electronic batch records.
Over the past 12 months MODA-ES® Software has gone live in two sites, Lonza Portsmouth became the first site to adapt this software followed by the Lonza Houston facility. By implementing this solution the sites have full traceability throughout the manufacturing process for their CGT suites. In addition, the MODA-ES® Software allows open parallel processing, which enables the sites to greatly improve the efficiency in their CGT production facilities.
In this webinar, Walter Bagni will discuss Lonza's approach to digitalizing our cell therapy manufacturing operations and the future plans for the MODA-ES® System within Lonza.
Topics to be covered include:
- IT Challenges in cell and gene therapies (CGT), industry view based on BioPhorum IT collaboration group
