Product Overview

Nucleocuvette® Cartridges PRO are the specific reaction vessels for the 4D-Nucleofector® LV Unit PRO in which the electroporation process takes place. They are used in combination with P3 Primary Cell Nucleofector® LV Solution Sets and 4D-Nucleofector® LV Reservoirs.

The flow-through version, the LV Nucleocuvette® Cartridge PRO, enables processing of up to 1 billion cells in a sample volume of up to 20 mL. The cell suspension mixed with respective cargo (DNA, mRNA, RNP) is automatically  transferred from an input reservoir into the cartridge and the transfected sample fraction is then transferred into a collection reservoir. Reservoirs may be the dedicated 4D-Nucleofector® LV Reservoirs or suitable bags.

Before using the flow-through cartridge, the application should be established in the small-scale Nucleofection® Vessels on the 4D-Nucleofector® X Unit and then first scaled up to the fixed-volume cartridge of the 4D-Nucleofector® LV Unit PRO.

Sterile welding: The PVC tubing allows for sterile welding to a TheraPEAK® Nucleofector® LV Reservoir or a bag. Alternatively sterile connections can be established manually via a Spinning Spiros connector.

The GMP-grade counterpart, TheraPEAK® LV Nucleocuvette® Cartridge PRO, is planned to become available in Q4-2025.
