Product Overview
The FlashGel® RNA Starter Kit allows researchers to quickly begin using FlashGel® Cassettes for fast electrophoresis of RNA. The FlashGel® RNA Starter kit contains all the elements needed to immediately begin testing RNA samples (FlashGel® Dock is not included). The FlashGel® System is recommended for verification and analysis of total RNA, quick checks of native RNA, and checking RNA degradation and mRNA purity. RNA fragments are analyzed on the FlashGel® System using the same fast and simple procedure used for DNA. The FlashGel® System for RNA is 5-20X more sensitive than ethidium bromide gels. RNA <10 ng per band are clearly detected, conserving precious RNA samples.
FlashGel® FLX Cassettes fully enclose the gel and running buffer, protecting samples from contaminating RNases. FlashGel® FLX Cassettes in combination with the FlashGel® FLX RNA Prestain Loading Buffer are designed for performance and purity, and are guaranteed RNase free.
