Product Overview

ProCHO® 4 Protein-free CHO Medium is developed specifically to facilitate the production and downstream processing of recombinant proteins expressed in CHO cells. These protein-free formulations support high-density cultures without the need for animal derived components. Very low levels of recombinant insulin facilitate both downstream purification and regulatory compliance.

ProCHO® 4 Protein-free CHO Medium - For concurrent transition of adherent CHO cells to serum-free and suspension culture. Supports faster doubling times.

Cat. No. BEBP12-029Q an FFM medium contains phenol red and 0.1% Pluronic® F-68. It does not contain L-glutamine, hypoxanthine, or thymidine. 

ProCHO® 4 Protein-free CHO Medium can be used in fed-batch cell culture with feeds like eCHO® Feed, Power Feed A and CHO Xtreme® Feed.

All BioWhittaker® Cell Culture Media products are for Research Use Only (RUO) and are not approved for human or veterinary use or for use in clinical or in vitro diagnostic procedures.
