PASMC - Human Pulmonary Artery Smooth Muscle Cells

Human pulmonary artery smooth muscle cells(CC-2581) were stained with 1:1500 dilution of Anti Alpha-Smooth Muscle Actin dilution of (CBL171, Sigma). Immunofluorescence analysis was conducted using Secondary donkey polyclonal antibody Alexa Fluor Do anti Mo 594 Invitrogen (Thermo Fisher) A21203 at a 1:200 dilution. Nuclei were stained with Hoechst . In multi-well culture, PAMCSs appeared typically epitheloid (polygonal) forming monolayers of very low-level alpha-actin expressing cells. Rarely, a few intensely alpha-actin positive cells (arrows) were evident. These displayed distinct fusiform-elongated morphology.

PASMC - Human Pulmonary Artery Smooth Muscle Cells

Cells are isolated from human pulmonary artery and expanded prior to freezing (CC-2581). When plated & expanded, the cells express little to no alpha-actin unless first stimulated to differentiate.Cells were stained with Anti Alpha-Smooth Muscle Actin Chemicon (Millipore) CBL171 at 1:1500 dilution.
