FBM^® basal medium is a component sold separately. This is part of the FGM^®-2 and FGM^®-3 Fibroblast Growth Media BulletKits^® (Catalog Numbers CC-3132 and CC-4526, respectively) which consist of basal medium and supplements packaged together.

FGM^®-2 Fibroblast Growth Medium-2 (CC-3132) was developed to support the growth of most primary human fibroblasts including lung and dermal fibroblasts. FGM^®-2 Medium contains 2% serum.

FGM^®-3 Fibroblast Growth Medium-3 (CC-4526) was developed specifically for cardiac fibroblasts. FGM^®-3 Medium contains contains 10% serum.
