Lonza Cologne at B2Run – Racing together, living our values, making an impact

Lonza Cologne has been part of the B2Run family for over 10 years, starting in 2012 with just 13 colleagues from across departments. Fast forward to 2025, and 30 passionate team members from Research & Development, Marketing, Scientific Support, and Operations hit the streets of Cologne, joining a massive 20,000-strong crowd from over 800 companies! The 6-kilometer course, finishing at the iconic RheinEnergieSTADION, was filled with excitement, energy, and unforgettable moments of team spirit.

And it’s not just about running – it’s about making a difference. This year, B2Run supports a biomass project in India and will plant 12,500 trees. Additional projects are drinking water and food supply in Ethiopia with Menschen für Menschen, combining reforestation with sustainable farming to create lasting impact for communities and the planet.

At Lonza Cologne, B2Run is more than a race – it’s fun, fitness, teamwork, and sustainability all rolled into one thrilling experience.
