Product Overview
Diseased human pulmonary artery endothelial cells are isolated from human donors that have been diagnosed with diabetes type I or type II disease. Diseased cells are grown in the same optimized media system as normal human endothelial cells. Diabetic cultures can be used for experimental applications in diabetic-related cardiovascular pharmaceutical development, vascular pathology, including atherosclerosis.
Cryopreserved Diabetic Type 1 Human Pulmonary Artery Endothelial Cells are shipped in third passage. Proliferating CloneticsTM cells are shipped in fourth passage. All cells test negative for mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast, and fungi. HIV-1, hepatitis B and hepatitis C are not detected for all donors and/or cell lots. A Certificate of Analysis is provided for each cell lot purchased.
