Product Overview
Hanks' Balanced Salt Solution (HBSS) is a balanced salt solution to be used in a wide variety of tissue culture applications: to maintain a physiological pH for cells maintained in non-CO2 conditions, diluting cells before counting, washing cells before dissociating and transporting cells or tissues.
The Lonza HBSS is available in various formulations such as calcium, magnesium and phenol red free or containing versions.
This BioWhittaker® Cell Culture Media is produced according to cGMP and labelled "For Further Manufacturing" (FFM). GMP Products are intended for research or further manufacturing use only. THIS PRODUCT IS NOT INTENDED FOR DIRECT THERAPEUTIC USE IN HUMANS.
