 Adipogenic Maintenance Medium is a component of the hMSC Adipogenic Differentiation BulletKitTM, and is availalbe separately here.

Stem cells possess the unique ability to differentiate into multiple lineages of cells including adipocytes. Lonza’s hMSC Adipogenic Differentiation BulletKitTM Medium is a serum containing media system designed to induce adipogenic differentiation of human bone marrow derived mesenchymal stem cells into mature, functionally active adipocytes in as few as 19 days. Differentiation can then be validated by a variety of methods including the use of Lonza’s AdipoRedTM Adipogenic Assay Reagent which provides a quantitative value related to the amount of adipogenic differentiation.

The hMSC Adipogenic Differentiation BulletKitTM Medium provides both an induction medium and a maintenance medium guaranteed to induce adipogenic differentiation of human bone marrow derived mesenchymal stem cells into mature, functionally active adipocytes; Each bottle of the hMSC Adipogenic Differentiation BulletKitTM Medium contains enough induction medium and maintenance medium to fully differentiate approximately 3 million human bone marrow derived mesenchymal stem cells [approximately 15 wells in a 6-well plate format] into mature, functionally active adipocytes. The hMSC Adipogenic Differentiation Medium is offered as a BulletKitTM Medium (catalog no. PT-3004) which includes both the basal media for induction and maintenance and the necessary supplements for both adipogenic induction and maintenance of human bone marrow derived mesenchymal stem cells.
